The Ravelin Centre has been open this week for staff and students of the University of Portsmouth to use all of the facilities and test everything out before it opens to the public on October 1. The multi-million pound build, which received a BREEM award for the sustainable design, has a number of high-tech facilities including a 175 station gym, a ski simulator which cost over £100,000, a climbing wall, a boulder area, a swimming pool, squash courts, a sports hall and a number of studios for exercise classes.
Here is a sneak peek at what the public can expect to see when they are welcomed through the doors in a month’s time.
