Popular Pompey fan Nigel Tresidder dies
Tresidder, who ran the Newcome Arms pub near Fratton Park for 17 years up until 2014, lost his long fight with illness this morning.
A popular figure among the Blues community, Tresidder’s pub was visited by former chairmen Milan Mandaric and Sacha Gaydamak during their time at the club.

Hide AdAnd the death of a lifelong Pompey fan has seen a number of tributes posted on the central branch’s Facebook page and all across social media.
Portsmouth FC Supporters Club (Central Branch) posted the sad news on Facebook this morning, writing: ‘It is with great sadness that we have to announce the passing this morning of our former Chairman Nigel Tresidder. ‘He was a great man who did so much for Portsmouth FC Supporters Club (CB).
‘He will be sadly missed but never forgotten.
‘R.I.P Nigel.’
