Team behind Package Free Larder in Southsea suspends work on refurbishing new premises

The Package Free Larder team, which earlier this month announced its new home at the former Green Machine shop in Elm Grove, Southsea, said the postponement of works was due to the Covid-19 outbreak.
The building was still being refurbished and was not yet able to 'provide the essentials to the community,' an e-mail statement said.

Hide AdIt added: 'This is obviously a changing situation, so we’ll be monitoring and adjusting our plans and timeline accordingly.
Though we are confined to our homes, we are still continuing to work on aspects of the shop.
‘This is an unknown situation for us all which everyone is doing their best to manage.
‘If there is anything specific you would like to hear from us that would help you, that you would enjoy or if you would like to share something with us, please do let us know.'
