Hide AdA representative from the charity asked Kerry Budd and Cath Mason if someone would run on their behalf and Bohuslav was suggested.
The triathlete is delighted to be raising money for a good cause while doing what he loves.
He said: ‘I’m addicted, I have to do something every day.
‘I want to set a personal best in the marathon and get a really good time.’
Bohuslav’s goal is to run the 26.2-mile course in less than three hours – and if he fails, it won’t be for lack of training.

Hide AdHe has been running a half-marathon almost every day before work, forcing his wife Martina to endure his 4am alarm.
Bohuslav, who moved to Waterlooville from Slovakia nine years ago, most recently raced in the Portsmouth Coastal Waterside 32-mile ultra-run in December.
He added: ‘I have been running since I was seven, but I had to stop when I had an operation at the age of 21.’ After that, it was only three months before he was back in action.
He has been running, cycling and swimming almost every day since.
