Officers are still investigating last month's Marwell Zoo break-in, say police

On Monday, February 15, police cars and armed officers were sent to the zoo in Thompson’s Lane, near Winchester, after reports that people broke in and hurled objects at the animals.
Pictures of the animal abuse were shared on social media at the time, and four people were arrested.

Hide AdA 20-year-old man and a 22-year-old man from Fareham, as well as a 22-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman from Gosport, were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
They were released under investigation.
A spokeswoman from Hampshire Constbaulary confirmed that this investigation is still ongoing.
