The South Norwood Animal Rescue and Liberty organisation received notification a cat was found in an alleyway between Jubilee Road and Francis Avenue in Southsea.
It comes after another cat was found dead on Sunday at St James' Hospital with injuries similar to that of those thought to have been killed by the notorious UK animal killer.
