Roy, 50, emigrated to Australia in 1947 to get married. But he was back in England again with his wife Pat to visit relatives.Â
After arriving in Southampton, he went straight to his mother's flat at Keats House.

As a former Portsmouth Royal Marine, Roy was to be in England for a year.
'˜It's nice to be back again, but how this area has changed,' he said.
'˜I could hardly recognise the place '“Â it seems to have been turned into a bit of a concrete jungle.'
It certainly was a contrast to Roy's home in the rural town of Mudgee, north-west of Sydney.
