Pompey's promotion hopes bolstered as Hatters held

Pompey's chances of promotion were given a boost as Luton drew at Newport.
The Hatters took the lead after five minutes through a Danny Hylton penalty after being brought down inside the box by Sid Nelson.
But Newport were level when Sean Rigg fired his left-footed shot past Matt Macey in the 28th minute.

Hide AdThe home side had to play the final 10 minutes of the match with 10-men after Mark O’Brien was shown a second yellow card.
But relegation-stricken Newport held on for a point.
Luton stay fifth in League Two, five points behind Pompey.
