And the family of the Gosport Borough chief executive are calling for those who attend to wear blue and yellow - the colours of the clubs he was associated with - rather than black.
Stainton, who was also involved with Waterlooville and played a leading role in the formation of Havant and Waterlooville, died early this month at the age of 77 after a lifetime dedicated to local sport.
