======================================
Milan, we as Pompey supporters owe you a debt of gratitude for all that you've done for us and Portsmouth Football Club.
When all looked doom and gloom for the club, you came and breathed new life and made us what we are today. You have my, and all Pompey fans, deep and sincere thanks and Monday will truly be a emotional occassion, but you know the fans, we'll make sure your name rings around the ground as our way of saying "Thank You from the bottom of our hearts".
Thank you, Milan, God Bless & Goodbye
Mark (Havant)simply put-Milan...there`s only 1 Milan. Thanks for everything.
The Callaway`s-pompey forever.Milan, - Mr. Pompey, thank you for saving the club and bringing the good times back. You never lost faith, and you brought self-respect back to the fans. PFC will never be the same without you, and every one of us will feel that a personal friend is moving away. There will always be a place for you in our history. Thanks Milan, and good luck.
Chris and Kate Hudson Good luck to Milan, he has transformed this club from the lower
divisions into hopefully a powerhouse in the future, he made mistakes but
then made great decisions especially to bring back Harry, he leaves us at a
time when we are top of the best league in the world, he should be a very
proud man, we fans have a lot to thank him for.
Simon Prentice
Executive Chef
Toronto Congress CentreWhen Milan came to Pompey we were in deep trouble. Struggling in the league, struggling financially things looked bleak for a once proud club.
However using all his business know how he dragged Pompey by the scruff of it's neck out of the gutter. Slowly but surely results started to improve and things off field began to look brighter too. Milan promised to make us a proven Premiership club and he did just that. Sometimes he would let his heart rule his head, but if anything us fans loved him more for it.
I will never forget how pleased he looked stood on stage at Southsea Common after the team's victory parade following our Championship win, at last it must have all seemed worthwhile. For all these memories I would like to thank Milan for all the hardwork and sleepless nights he put into our club, but if truth be told, even if the Premiership dream hadn't been realised I would still be saying the same, because without Milan I fear I would have had no club to cheer at all. Thanks Milan, and I wish you a sincere good luck in whatevver you decide to do next-there will always be a warm welcome back at your adopted home.

CopnorMilan thank you for everything, you succeeded despite all the
terrible treatment you and Portsmouth football club have
had from the media. You gave us the best years I have
experienced in sixty years of supporting POMPEY.
Harold. from Havant.Today is Milan day, a really legend for Pompey. This is right, because Milan has earned day by day his big reputation there. The passion for football, his willing, the proude to represent the "People" of Fratton Park, has permitted to Portsmouth F.C. to be back in the luxury family of Premiership.
As a personal friend of him I know how much it has cost to Milan in commitment, satisfation and emotionally terms. Today is his last day as Chairman, but Milan will be always a true supporter, a Pompey man. He loves you people of Portsmouth, for what you gave to him in many years and he will never forget you. The tribute you are giving tonight will be an unforgettable page of his successfully life.

Mark, HavantMy lasting memory of Milan was in his early days with Pompey. The Isle of Wight Pompey Supporters club invited him over and duly he turned up at Yelfs in a three-piece.
It was over 100 degrees in the function room and I expect he must have thought we were trying to do him in (with other chairmen that might have been the case).
He manfully struggled through the night and was very impressive.
It's been a hell of a ride with Milan - on the whole good with one or two dark moments. So thank-you from me for an incredible time.
Bill Maidment
Wootton, IOWI feel that since Milan Mandaric put seven years of his life and money to Pompey, then Pompey should give something back such as naming an area of the ground after him.
Without him the club would have been dead and buried. At least this way one small part of the club and its ground will forever be 'Milan'.
All the best to you Milan and hope that life brings you happiness and success in the future.
Lee Thompson
Nova Scotia, CanadaI would like to personally thank Mr Milan Mandaric for the massive turnaround of Portsmouth Football Club. Without his efforts and money we would still be living in the dark old days of football.
It has been a huge pleasure and joy to follow pompey all over the country and i wish Mr Mandaric all the success for the future.
I know all pompey fans will give him a typical pompey farewell on monday night andi look forward to seeing him back at pompey when he nexts visits our great city.
Milan Mandaric has been, quite frankly, Mr Pompey – as without him we would not have a present or a future.
Those of us who have supported the club for nearly 45 years welcome the opportunity to see Pompey in the top flight after so many years in the wilderness.
It's Milan who has brought pride, passion and belief to the many supporters who follow their beloved team, and it took a man of humility and great strength of character to admit he was wrong and persuade Harry to come back to us from that place down the road.
God bless you, Milan, and we hope to see you often at Fratton Park in the future.
May you and your family have a happy and prosperous future ... we will always remember what you did for us.

Vendee, FranceThank you Milan – a man who wears his heart on his Pompey sleeve. Thank you for rescuing a club out of time, and giving it back some pride. May you continue to have success and happiness wherever your journey takes you.
Stephen Toman, SpainThank u can never b enough Milan. From down and out to top of the Premiership. Wot can we say but thanx a million.
Jan and Bill, PortchesterWords will never be enough but we'll try 'Thank you, Milan'.
Peter & David Griffin Fratton Park disabled sectionMilan, thank you very much for all the great times u gave us, whether it was fighting relegation or winning div one. U always came up trumps with great players and a great manager. Thank you again and go with the Pompey chimes in your heart. But please don't go forever – keep coming back and visit, you will always be welcome.
huddy from bordonWell he has gone, but his memory will always live in this generation of supporters. Fratton Park will not be the same.
He put his money where his mouth was and saved the club.
How appropriate he leaves with the club sitting proud once again at the very top.
The future is bright and worth getting up at 4am to watch a game and listen to the Chimes.
Now he has gone 'away' let's rename the away end the Milan stand.
All the best Milan, I'm sure your endeavours from now on will be just as successful.
Tim Wood, CanadaThank you Sir Milan, we will never 4get what u have done 4 our pompey.
Pincher, GosportI'd like to add my support and heartfelt thanks to Mr Mandaric to those already expressed by supporters in The News.
My personal memory, which sums up the man, is of an incident towards the end of the promotion season.
I was patiently queuing in Frogmore Road with several hundred fans to get tickets for a vital game.
The door to Fratton opened and out came Mr Mandaric to give an interview to a TV crew against the famous Pompey entrance.
A buzz went round the crowd, then a huge spontaneous round of cheering and applause broke out. This was cheerfully acknowledged with applause and a wave from Milan, who then came and spoke to us.
Which other Premiership chairman would have been so instantly recognised let alone greeted so warmly? No other. Thank you Milan Mndaric from three generations of season-ticket holders.
Your name will live forever in the hearts of all True Blues.
Bill SavilleThank you Milan, you are one in a billion, it's obvious you cared! You made me a Pompey fan.
Scottish Andy, StubbingtonWe in Paulsgrove and Wymering are extremely proud to be associated with Milan Mandaric.
We have produced some fine local footballers over the years so it was fitting to ask Milan as chairman of Pompey to honour us in opening new facilities.
Despite his heavy schedule he never turned down an opportunity to do this and over the past seven years he opened new buildings for us, the cybercafe, the new housing office and the Healthy Living Centre, all proudly displaying the fact they were opened by Milan.
He certainly will never be forgotten by us – he is a man of the people, man of the century, a worthy freeman of the city of Portsmouth. If we had it in our power he would be a freeman of Paulsgrove and Wymering.
All the best, Milan, to you and your family.
David Horne, PaulsgroveAmong all the gushing comments about Milan,I hope you allow me to bring some realism.
Yes we must all thank him for 'saving' our club.
However we must not forget the shocking mess he made with managers.
Even when he finally got it right with Harry, he then drove him out!
Thankfully he was man enough to admit his huge error, then bring him back.
Dennis Hore, SomerstownMilan Mandaric will forever be remembered as the true saviour of Portsmouth FC.
He took us from the depths of despair to the top of the Premier League in seven remarkable rollercoaster years.
The supporters will miss chanting his name but will give him a send-off he richly deserves.
Graham Wilkins,
SouthseaThanks Milan! I hope you will come and see the Blues again. There's only one Milan!
Mike Bush, WhiteleyThank you Milan for being our chairman.
Michael Nottage, North EndI would like to just give Milan a big hug.
Jane TurnerMilan, for what you have done at Portsmouth you deserve a knighthood.
Thanks for taking us into the promised land of the Premiership and bringing back Harry. Good luck and best wishes to you and your family in the future.
Mick Vince, HavantWell, well – I never thought I would see the day that Milan Mandaric leaves Portsmouth FC. I'm really upset you are leaving but I'm happy for what you have done for the club.
It's been the best few years at the club, like being the champions in 2002-03 and then staying in the Premership, and then you bringing back the best manager in the world, one and only Harry Redknapp. We have had our ups and downs at the club, but you got us through it all. There will always be a part of you at PFC. All the best, Mr Mandaric, and hope to see you soon.
Matthew Davies, EastneyThanks Milan for the integrity, dymantic purpose and love of our club that you brought to our city.
You will be missed more than we realise, the very best for the future.
Louis Berg, fan since 1970.Milan, you are a true legend to Portsmouth Football club.
The best thing you did before leaving was to bring back Harry Redknapp. Cheers for everything and all the best for your future.
Ashley Bartholomew, PortsmouthMilan will never be forgotten simply because he is and always will be Portsmouth Football Club.
He has not only brought pride back to this wonderful club, but also to the city.
You will always be number one.
We wish you good health and happiness and good luck in all you do in the future.
Malc G, CowplainThe last president of Portsmouth Football Club was Field Marshal Mongomery, who played a major role in saving England and Portsmouth during the Second World War.
More recently Milan Mandaric has played a major role in saving Portsmouth Football Club from possible extinction.
What better way to thank him than to make him president of Pompey?
C H Saunders, DraytonMilan Mandaric will always feature promenantly in any book on the history of Portsmouth Football Club as a Pompey great.
It's a pleasure to stay up until 3am to watch a Premiership Pompey side play on TV.
Alyn and James Davies,
Perth, Western AustraliaWot a great man u r Milan. Look at wot uv dun 4 Portsmouth f.c. Pompey loves u. u will nether b 4gotn.

Stan and Andy Morgan (text)I have to admit I had a tear in my eye last night. U r 1 in a million, Milan. Thanks for all the memories.
Ric, L HeathAll the best Milan,
Laurie Selby We true Pompey fans owe him a great debt, he rescued our club and never gave up in his quest to give us a team that we, the best supporters in the land, fully deserved.
I have been supporting Pompey since 1968 through thick and thin so I am enjoying the new season and also wish Sacha the best of luck.
Regards,
Simon Burgess, Winchester BluesMilan Mandaric says the club and its fans will always remain close to his heart.
Milan will always stay close to the heart of every supporter of Pompey.
Thanks, Milan, for keeping the club alive and then giving us all our dream.
Chris Quinell, chairman, Pompey Down UnderWe wouldn't be watching Pompey without Milan. He's our saviour.
Gary PettetMilan. Pompey Legend.Thank you and good luck, don't stay away too long!
Richard HainesThis is very simple.
Without Milan we wouldn't have a club - not even one playing Scunthorpe, Lincoln or Exeter in the Conference.
What has been achieved under his leadership is still our 'Dream Time' and we will never ever forget what he's done and the fantastic memories we are left with from his reign.
To quote a famous poem – 'There is a corner of Portsmouth Football Club that will be forever Milan.'
Colin StevensEvery Pompey fan should be grateful that Milan Mandaric found his way to the club.
Although occassionally his decisions were a little misguided, he always had the interest of the club at heart and this is why the fans have always supported him. Farewell Milan and good luck.
James Berry, Cowplain.
