Wincanton, which employs 32 people at its depot in Farlington, Portsmouth, said it intends to move its operations to Aldermaston for 'operational and efficiency reasons'.
It has offered workers the option of continuing working at the depot's new h
eadquarters, meaning they would have to commute more than 100 miles a day.
The Walton Road branch is a depot for lorry drivers who travel to farms across south east England and transport milk to London creameries.
It intends to cease operating in Farlington and open at the new location on September 28 – just one month after staff were told of the move.
Staff said they had been offered subsidised travel expenses for the first month of work, which would be halved every month afterwards.
One veteran employee, Alan Flewin, 58, who has worked as a driver at the plant for 17 years, voiced fury over the move.
He said: 'It's pretty abrupt. They said they're happy to take us up there but it's 66 miles each way, but how? The whole thing has been pretty vague.
'We're all very angry about it indeed.
'Some people won't go up there so they're looking around for other jobs, but most haven't fully made up their minds about what they're going to do.'
