Apotentially life-saving company has received further recognition of its technical competence and standards of service in fire safety.
Southern Fire Alarms (SFA), of Bognor Regis, West Sussex, has been awarded the BAFE SP203 Certification, which covers the design, installation, commissioning, handover, maintenance and verification of fire detection and alarm systems.

The award follows an extensive, in-depth audit and inspection by the Security Systems and Alarms Inspection Board.

BAFE is a non-profit making organisation dedicated to improving standards in fire protection. The fire brigade receives many false alarms each year – wasting time and resources – and a lot of these are attributed to poorly-installed systems by suppliers.

Project manager Oliver Reynolds said: 'This will provide both our new and existing customers with even greater peace of mind in our services.'

SFA, with over 35 years' experience in the fire industry, is an independent, dynamic company that covers every aspect of fire protection and life safety, ranging from consultancy and design to installation, testing, commissioning, user training and maintenance.
