A PORTSMOUTH-BASED drama school will celebrate success in finding one new 'wardrobe' by venturing into another this autumn.
The Groundlings, having been saved from possible extinction by an appeal in The News for new storage space, will stage The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe at the Kings Theatre, Southsea, from October 21-15.
Groundlings founder and artistic director Richard Stride said: 'After reading the article in The News, ServiceMaster Clean of Rodney Road rang us to say they had vacant space on the first floor of their premises.
'They were our knights in shining armour as they came to our rescue at the 11th hour.'
Groundlings Drama School classes resume on September 17, and potential and aspiring new students can audition at the Priory Sports Centre, Fawcett Road, Southsea, this Saturday, at either 10am or 2pm.
