Foreign investment guide UK Trade and Investment (UKTI) has migrated to a new regional hub.
The UKTI has moved its south east offices to the £14m Victory Park development in Whiteley, completing the move from Wallington Hill, Fareham.

Greater London Enterprise (GLE), which runs UKTI South East, has signed a nine-year lease on ground and first floor offices, covering 3,066sq ft.

More than 30 people out of the south east regional team of 60 are based at the new premises, incorporating a customer services team and a marketing and events team providing companies with knowledge, advice and practical support on doing business in international markets.

Executive manager Chris Burchell said: 'We're delighted with our new regional hub, where our dedicated staff are helping to bring the world to the door of companies across Hampshire and the rest of the region.

'From sales leads to tender opportunities and potential partnerships, we're here to advise firms on how to win business in overseas markets.

'There are a number of major draws about Victory Park, including the fact that junction nine of the M27 is only a minute's drive away, and Southampton Airport is within easy reach.'

So far 12 of the 14 units at Victory Park, a £14m scheme by Leeds-based UK office parks developer Business Homes, have been sold or leased since coming on to the market a year ago last July.

The latest deal was handled by three commercial property agencies.

Russell Mogridge of Hughes Ellard and Nik Cox of King Sturge acted for landlord Business Homes while Matt Evans of Lambert Smith Hampton represented the tenant.

Simon Houlston, Business Homes' chairman, said: 'It's great that our flagship £14m scheme on the south coast is providing a springboard for global growth for UK-based companies.

'I wish Chris and his colleagues at UK Trade and Investment every success.'
