Property professionals from across Portsmouth and Southampton gathered for their annual cricket match clash.
Southampton Property Association (SPA) pipped Portsmouth Property Association (PPA) by one run in a fast and furious 20/20 over clash at Fareham and Crofton Cricket Club in Lower Bath Lane, Fareham.

The scoreboard displayed Southampton's 117 to Portsmouth's 116.

PPA chairman Rob Marchant said: 'Well, we had to give our friends from the west a rare win so they could have a taste of what we are used to here in Portsmouth – victory!'

Former SPA chairman Russell Mogridge said: 'There is always good-natured rivalry between the two associations, both on and off the field, and this eagerly-awaited fixture was no different. The game was in the balance until the last ball was bowled.'

The match was sponsored by Lloyds Bank and was followed by a barbecue with players, family and friends. The PPA has more than 150 members and the SPA 400. They include commercial and residential property agents, solicitors, accountants and land and property auctioneers.
