Tax return deadline near

The deadline for returning Self-Assessment Tax Returns is approaching.
Those not filing their paper forms by October 31 risk a fine of £100.
The date for previous years was January 31, but HMRC has called on those who have yet to file not to breach the deadline.
More information on filing is available from www.hmrc.gov.uk/sa, or from the self assessment helpline on 0845 9000 444, open from 8am to 8pm seven days a week.
