A clear-sighted businesswoman has been named the first Hampshire Star.
Sarah Prideaux, director of Fareham glasses firm Direct Spex, was awarded the accolade by Lib Dem deputy leader Vince Cable at the party's Road to Recovery conference, which was held in Winchester last week.

The accolade has been launched as a prize for those young entrepreneurs who 'have shown outstanding performance and dedication' and are good role models.
