Tourism fear of visa rules

The tourist industry in the south is being warned it could be hit by new government rules on entry into the UK for people coming to the region from China, Russia and India.
The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales warns that elements of the government's five-year plan on immigration being introduced this year could further dent an industry already battered by the weather and the economy.

They say that new biometric visa requirements could affect the £2bn tourism trade from 108 countries whose residents need a visa to visit the UK.
