Two new associates have been appointed at one of the south's leading law firms, Coffin Mew LLP.
James King has been added to the Personal Injury team, and Sarah Humphrey has joined the Commercial Property team.

Mr King is a Litigator Member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Originally from Lincolnshire, he graduated in Law and Psychology from Staffordshire University, and joined Coffin Mew in 2003.

Ms Humphrey joined the firm in 2002 as a trainee solicitor, and qualified as a solicitor working within the Commercial Property team in 2004.

LCM, the Fareham-based PR firm, has elevated George Roberts to the post of business development manager.

Mr Roberts, 28, has already been instrumental in bringing on board London law-firm Hextalls and regional law firm Thomas Eggar, and Southampton and Eastleigh Holiday Inns.

Mr Roberts joined LCM just over four years ago as an account executive, and was quickly promoted to account manager for clients including Southern Focus Trust and Fareham Shopping Centre.

Gary Aiken has left CBRE to set up his own commercial and marine property business, Aiken Commercial.

With 25 years of experience in the local Hampshire commercial property market, following the move from CBRE, he said he planned to bring back the personal touch of the smaller firm.

NewNet PLC, headquartered in Fareham's Cam's Hall Estate, has appointed Cathie Tufnail as channel manager.

She brings five years of sales experience within the telecoms market, and was previously business development manager at Uniworld.

Jason Beckhurst, customer service manager at Southern Electric's Portsmouth offices for the last two years, has been appointed overall call centre manager.

He replaces Tracey Costley, who has been promoted to new head of call centres for parent company Scottish and Southern Energy.

As new manager, Jason has a team of more than 730 call centre staff at both the Lower Drayton Lane and Langstone Technology Park offices.
