Technical development executive Alex North has been appointed to the board of directors at Repropoint.
The firm, which has a branch in Portsmouth, is one of the South's premier digital print providers, and Alex will spearhead the company's continued investment in new technology.
After joining Repropoint in 2004, Alex became the company's first technical development executive in 2006, and since then has been responsible for introducing a number of pioneering technical innovations.
Married with a young daughter, Alex said: 'Working with all our individual teams and customers, I hope to help them improve the way we work and improve our efficiency.'
Ann Brine is taking over the role of chairwoman of the local branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.
Ann is managing director of AMB Marketing, a Hampshire-based marketing consultancy.
The network supports marketers across the UK, with more than 1,200 members in Hampshire and the IoW.
Ann said: 'All too often marketing is considered as a 'fluffy' profession – our role as a professional institute is to champion the strategic strength of good marketing in any size of business, whether you're a blue-chip like IBM or British Airways through to Sole Traders.'
Kerry Loughrey has joined the team at Gosport Business Centre as assistant manager to Andrew Weston, who has run the centre since it opened in May 2004.
Gosport born and bred, she lives within walking distance of the centre, and is glad she no longer has to join the regular commuter traffic out of the borough every morning. A keen scooter rider, she is the proud owner of a 1962 Lambretta and a Vespa PX125. Kerry lives with her partner Richard and her daughter Charley.
'I am absolutely delighted to have joined the team here at Gosport Business Centre. I am looking forward to getting stuck into my new role,' she said.
