A CHARTERED accountant is hoping to take her business relationships beyond tax returns to boost the local economy.

Jeri Williams started her chartered accountancy practice in Fareham – J Williams & Co – at the end of April.

The mum-of-two qualified in 2009 and spent seven years at a practice in Hampshire before she became a director.

Now she has started her own practice dealing with corporate and personal accountancy and she said that local businesses and clients are at the forefront of her accountancy practice.

She said: ‘Juggling it all is hard but so worth it, and business is booming.’

She used as many of her clients as possible to set up her office, such as Jamie Feist of Henry Paints Furniture, Craig Brock from Temptrol and Dave Lincoln from D & D Drylining Developments.

Her current office space in Miller Drive is an outbuilding that has been completely converted and refurbished for this new venture.

The practice has employed a further four people. For more call 01329 889345.
