WATERSTONES in Portsmouth will be the venue for a book signing by a glamorous actress-turned-author.

LA-based Victoria Redstall will be meeting readers and signing copies of her new book Serial Killers – Up Close and Very Personal at the bookshop in Commercial Road.

As a model and actress and investigative reporter, Redstall has had an unusual and controversial career.

She has gained unprecedented access to serial killers awaiting the death penalty in top security prisons in the United States.

Originally from Surrey, Victoria has now interviewed some of the most notorious serial killers in the world and her new books brings together her interviews with them.

Speaking about Redstall’s book, Janine Clark, from Waterstones said: ‘These hardened killers opened up to her in a way that they would never do to psychiatrists, prosecutors and other authority figures, revealing terrifying chapters of their lives that might otherwise have stayed hidden forever.

‘In this, her first book, she shares every detail and insight, bringing the reader up close and very personal with some of the most dangerous and disturbed serial killers that the world has ever seen.’

The signing will take place on Saturday September 17 at 11am.
