COMMUNITY finance company Parity Trust has announced it will have a new chief executive.

SJ Davis will take over at the Portsmouth firm from outgoing chief executive Simon Frost on February 3.

Mr Frost will leave after a decade at the helm of the company to pursue a freelance career.

A former investment banker, Ms Davis brings a wealth experience from the finance sector.

She has also managed a successful social enterprise loan fund in the south east of England, which provided affordable finance to the not-for-profit sector.

More recently, she has been working with Parity Trust on a consultancy basis helping the company with its recent successful community share offer.

Mr Frost said: ‘After 10 years, I am grateful for the support of the staff team and Board in helping us to achieve our objectives. The legacy that I shall leave is also credit to our clients, investors and supporters.’
