TOURIST Information Centres could be facing a shake-up as a council tries to save money.

Chichester District Council is reviewing offices in Chichester and Midhurst, which cost £180,000 a year to run.

Proposals include running tourism services from the reception area of Chichester’s new museum, which is due to open in Tower Street later this year.

The current tourism office in South Street would be rented out to create more income.

The second proposal would be sub-letting part of the centres to other tourism companies.
