The Design and Access statement said: ‘The available accommodation is to encourage start-up and expanding organisations, along with the potential for multinational businesses to relocate to Gosport.

‘While Wickham Laboratories operates in the pharmaceutical industry, the new science park aims to attract various sectors including bioscience, healthcare, food security and diverse scientific research programmes.’
