A FREE open day is being held for anyone who is interested in finding out more about apprenticeships.

The event is being organised jointly by the Basepoint operated Gosport Business Centre, and the PETA training agency based in Portsmouth.

The idea behind the open day, which will take place on Monday, February 18, is for local businesses and young people to find out more about apprenticeships.

Andrew Weston, centre manager at Gosport Business Centre, said: ‘PETA has more than 40 years’ experience of delivering apprenticeships and is recognised as one of the south’s leading providers of skills training.

‘There will also be advisers in attendance as well as current apprentices who can give feedback on their own experiences and provide advice.’
