DYNAMITE Recruitment Solutions in Havant has won the main prize at the Johnston Press South Business Awards.
The firm won The News Business Excellence Awards Overall Business of the Year, along with the Team of the Year and Small Business of the Year awards earlier this year.
That led to the firm being short-listed in the southern awards, organised by Johnston Press.
At an awards evening in Brighton last night, it scooped the accolades for Small Business of the Year and Overall Business of the Year.
Regale Microwave Ovens in Aerodrome Road, Gosport, scooped the top award for innovation last night.
The company was chosen for its innovative removable cavity liner for microwaves, allowing operators to clean their appliance with the minimum of fuss.
BAE Systems apprentice Brandon Bowman was also recognised with an award for his hard work on the Maritime Project Control Foundation Scheme.
This year’s Overall Achievement award went to Mick Williams, chairman of Williams and Co, a trade-only chain of plumbing and heating supplies.
He started his business in North End in 1972, in a corner shop. Over 40 years, it has expanded to have 27 branches across the south.
