AN INDEPENDENT nationwide scheme for assessing professional standards and service within the gentlemen’s hairdressing industry has listed a Whiteley barbers.

The Barber Shop, at 3600 Parkway, Whiteley, achieved recognition by the Good Barbers’ Guide.

The Good Barbers’ Guide, which is based in Portsmouth, assesses standards in gentlemen’s grooming and barbering and promotes members’ salons through its website goodbarbersguide.com.

Gareth Penn, director of the Good Barbers’ Guide, said: ‘I am delighted that The Barber Shop, Whiteley succeeded in reaching the standards required to become a member of the Good Barbers’ Guide.
