AT more than 10 foot high, these youngsters on the back of a Lucketts coach are larger than life trying to help save young lives.

The Fareham family coach firm is helping to raise awareness of Wessex Heartbeat’s High 5 appeal, and now the coaches are carrying pictures of two youngsters the charity has helped – Ashton Hicks and Sara Glasspool.

The campaign they’re promoting sets out to raise half a million pounds to create a special cardiac unit at Southampton General Hospital for patients aged 16 to 30 with life-long heart conditions.

David Luckett, chairman of Lucketts Travel, said: ‘The charity does such amazing work, and we know that a new dedicated ward for young heart patients could make a big difference to their recovery from treatment and future lives.’
