WORLDWIDE logistics firm PSP says its year has already got off to a roaring start.

The Fareham-based boat transportation firm was amongst those attending the Tullett Prebon London Boat Show, and had a visit from TV personality Tamara Ecclestone, who opened the show.

PSP’s managing director Frank Dixie said: ‘This has been our most successful London show to date.

‘Despite talk of ticket sales and attendance being down, we took more actual bookings than ever before. We held several successful meetings not just with individuals looking to transport boats, but also with fellow exhibitors about their boat transportation and wider logistics needs.’

PSP kicked off the event with the announcement that its marine turnover increased by 20 per cent last year.

Frank said: ‘We will not rest on our laurels. We will continue to support the marine sector and be seen at shows such as this to cement our relationship with the industry.’
