A CRICKET club has thanked a builders’ merchants for helping it to build a fence.

Bosham Cricket Club received the donation from Covers Timber & Builders Merchants in Chichester.

Chairman of Bosham Cricket Club Rory Gogarty said: ‘We’re so grateful for the materials that Covers has provided.

‘The club is in great
need of a boundary
around the pitch, so their help is very much appreciated.’

Managing director at Covers Henry Green added: ‘We’re very proud to be supporting Bosham Cricket Club and I’m delighted that Covers could contribute to fulfilling the demand for a pitch boundary.’

Located in the village of Bosham, the club is an integral part of the local community, which has had cricket at its heart for over 100 years.

The club fields an adult team that competes in the West Sussex Invitation League, and a junior team that competes in the Sussex West Area.

The materials donated by Covers will be used to put up a fence boundary around the club’s pitch.
