BUILDERS’ merchants Alliance Remedial Supplies has seen its Gosport-based business grow rapidly, forcing it to find larger premises.

The company, which offers supplies for damp-proofing, basement tanking, surface weatherproofing and much more, was started by director Chris Reynolds in his garage at home five years ago.

Chris, a former technical manager, is a qualified waterproofing surveyor offering design assistance and consultation services from cellar conversions to full-blown new build basement developments across the UK.

The family-run business, driven by Chris and supported by his team, including his partner Wendy, is now regularly exporting goods to Europe and as far as Australia and America.

The business has taken off and has moved into a unit at Glenmore Business Centre, Aerodrome Road, Gosport

Chris said: ‘Our new premises will be over double our current capacity, allowing us to have a showroom to showcase our extensive stock and a warehouse to try to ensure same-day delivery on specialist products.

‘Plus, more importantly to me, extra space to run manufacturers’ training and trade days and practical training courses for the application of new specialist preservation and restoration systems.’
