THREE buildings in Portsmouth have been short-listed for a design award.

The Royal Institute of British Architects released its short list yesterday for its 2016 south awards.

There were 32 buildings that made the shortlist from across the south, three of which were from Portsmouth.

These are the: Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries, University of Portsmouth, by Penoyre & Prasad LLP; Boathouse 4, Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, by Walters & Cohen Architects; and Land Rover BAR America’s Cup Facilities Building, by HGP Architects.

All short-listed buildings will be assessed by jury with the winning buildings announced at an awards evening at Ascot Racecourse on Thursday, April 28.
