THE Rugby Football Union (RFU) has announced commercial property and real estate services adviser CBRE is to be the principal partner in a project with two schools in Portsmouth.

The company is working with the RFU’s All Schools programme at St Edmund’s Catholic School in Arundel Street and Priory School in Fawcett Road.

Commenting on the partnership, James Brounger, CBRE’s managing director for the south central region, said: ‘We are delighted to be associated with the RFU’s All Schools programme.

‘It’s great to see a healthy number of schools across the south signing up to play rugby and get involved with the sport ahead of next year’s world cup.’

The four-year deal will see CBRE investing in All Schools, one of the seven areas identified by the RFU to deliver the greatest participation legacy in the lead up to the 2015 World Cup and beyond.

There will also be opportunities for the firm to develop links with the schools.
