THE notion of business being done on the golf course is not so outdated, as a new networking group combining the two is set to tee off.

The Portsmouth Business Golf Network will be launched by former Ryder Cup star Peter Dawson on Tuesday at the Cams Hall Estate Golf Club in Fareham.

The event will launch the Portsmouth Business Golf Network.

The format will be an 18-hole pairs Stableford competition, followed by a two-course meal and prize giving.

There will also be a chance for two lucky people to play golf against Peter.

Places are limited to 44 players and so will be allocated on a first come, first served basis.

The all-inclusive cost is £49.
