FIRMS in Fareham and Portsmouth are being invited to join a research project on how best to motivate teams during difficult economic times.

Hampshire Chamber of Commerce is behind the study, run in conjunction with people management specialist youbecome, which will measure the performance of employers in creating and maintaining staff morale.

Researchers are looking for up to 30 companies from different industry sectors to take part. In return, each participant will receive a confidential report on their individual strengths and weaknesses along with an employee satisfaction score and recommendations for improvement.

Participating companies need to employ 25 or more staff and preference will be given to Hampshire Chamber members.
