AN OUTLET shopping centre was shortlisted for a prestigious marketing award for its campaign; Christmas 2015: All Your Presents, Present.

Gunwharf Quays’ festive campaign was one of 22 shortlisted in the Strategic Marketing Campaign category at the BCSC Purple Apple Marketing Awards, which were held in London last month.

Judges examined the results from campaigns that embraced all disciplines from across the UK retail property sector.

Gunwharf Quays’ multi-media campaign was broadcast across a two-hour drive-time catchment, resulting in a successful sales period.

Yvonne Clay, senior marketing manager at the centre, said: ‘We are delighted to be named among some of the UK’s top shopping centres.

‘Our campaign really reflected Gunwharf Quays’ broad retail offering and demonstrated that outlet shopping does have enough choice for a primary Christmas shop.’
