A MARKETING and digital specialist has joined a national campaign to help 10,000 small businesses improve their online performance.

Caroline Sumners runs Fifty One Degrees in Portsmouth. Caroline, along with 19 other trainers, form the business support group campaign ‘Enterprise Nation’s Go and Grow’.

The trainers will give digital advice to small firms throughout Hampshire over the next 12 months.

Caroline said: ‘Portsmouth and Hampshire companies could be selling more online, but they are so busy working on the business they often feel they don’t have time to explore how to make the most of the online opportunity.

‘I’m really pleased to be joining the campaign so that I can help small businesses make a real difference to their bottom line with some time-saving hacks and make sure people running firms in Portsmouth get better at making sales and bringing in more business online.

‘If you’re running a butchers or local cafe, being online is important to raise awareness, create a buzz and help you sell more efficiently to more people.’
