THE time is fast approaching to keep yourself warm with a glass or two of ale at Gosport’s annual winter beer festival.

Members of the Campaign for Real Ale (Camra) meet at Queens Hotel, Gosport, on Saturday to distribute posters publicising the event, which takes place on Friday, February 22 and Saturday, February 23.

The bash is run by Camra volunteers and is in its 21st year.

Camra members will also meet to hand out posters at The Hole in The Wall, Southsea, on Monday from 8pm and The Golden Lion, Fareham, on Saturday, January 12 at noon.

Sue Lampon, landlady of Queens Hotel, said: ‘The festival is so successful because it’s an annual event that has a great selection of beer. It’s fantastic for the people of Gosport.’
