CAR giant Hendy Group has made a major investment in its site at North Harbour, Portsmouth.

The group, which operates from 20 sites across southern England, has upgraded facilities at its Ford and Kia showroom as part of a project which has also seen improvements at its Mazda, Ford and Honda facilities in Winchester.

Group managing director Paul Hendy said the company, which became Britain’s first Ford dealer in 1910, was committed to a programme of ongoing investment to provide customers, and staff, with the highest quality facilities.

Work at the North Harbour showroom has involved a major refurbishment and investment programme to provide a larger showroom, improved used car facilities and upgraded customer service areas.

Paul said: ‘The investment we have made at these two sites reflects the company’s commitment to providing top-class facilities for all of the manufacturers we represent. Feedback from customers has been positive with particular praise for the light, airy and friendly facilities.’
