A MOBILITY centre has relaunched its website to meet its customers’ needs and help them make informed decisions in choosing aids.

Husband and wife team Mike and Debbie Watts and their two sons, Jamie and Ben, run the Solent Mobility Centre in Lee-on-the Solent high street, said to be the largest mobility showroom on the south coast.

Demand is on the increase for larger purchases such as stair lifts and wet-rooms, allowing people to live independently and stay in their own homes for longer.

The new website also illustrates the large range of products available both online and through the showroom.

Ben, one of the Solent Mobility directors who is also an engineer with knowledge of fitting and maintenance, said: ‘It was important to listen to our customers and to put together a guide to stair lifts to help our customers understand the different types of stair lifts available, how long it will take to install, what guarantees are there, who will maintain it and so on.

‘This guide is available to view on the website or print to keep as a point of reference.

‘At Solent Mobility we install and maintain our stair lifts, we do not use third parties or referrals, so our customers can be assured that our fully trained, dedicated engineers will carry out the surveys, installations, provide an annual service plan and repairs with authentic parts when necessary.

‘The feedback we get with this service is our customers have ‘peace of mind’ knowing that everything is taken care of by one dedicated firm.’

The website is available at solentmobility.co.uk.
