THE Hampshire Chamber of Commerce is backing a national campaign to encourage more businesses to become members.

It has been launched on video sharing website YouTube by the British Chambers of Commerce and features entrepreneurs discussing the benefits of networking, accessing legal and financial advice, and the role of accredited chambers in supporting exporters.

Maureen Frost, Hampshire Chamber’s director of operations and deputy chief executive, said: ‘As well as the wide range of day-to-day services and advice we provide, we lead trade missions to other countries that help members find new markets for goods and services.

‘Accredited chambers of commerce such as Hampshire Chamber have the added support of being a part of the BCC network, giving members the chance to have their views represented at the highest levels of government.’
