FOOD lovers will have an extra reason to dine out thanks to a group of restaurants and bars in Southsea.

A dozen businesses have banded together to create Osborne Road Wednesdays.

Each Wednesday, for the whole evening, each business has a different offer, from buy-one-get-one-free cocktails at Kingsley’s to unlimited ribs at Rancho Steakhouse or set menu deals at Spice Merchants.

Albert Choi, owner of Chez Choi, said: ‘A group of us on Osborne Road decided we would try to help ourselves to promote the area a little bit better because we felt there was a lack of investment from the council in this part of town. We thought we should do something to increase the footfall so we formed this group of quality establishments. We’ve got some great offers.’
