Portsmouth City Council and the Association of Learning Providers for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight are hosting a free apprenticeship event for parents, young people and employers.

On the day there will be activities such as first-aid, fitness, 3D printing, making ‘mocktails’, hair-braiding and Formula 1 technology.

Those who aren’t sure what sector they would like to work in can learn about how to get into a number of industries such as construction, engineering, hairdressing, aviation, technology, healthcare, business administration and customer service. Employers will be there to discuss the apprenticeships they have to offer.

The fair will take place at Portsmouth Football Club from 3pm to 6pm on Thursday. For information email leanne.tsui@portsmouthcc.gov.uk
