Mutiny Festival brings £2.7m into Portsmouth economy

PORTSMOUTH will be getting involved with the annual Global Entrepreneurship Week for the first time this year.

Organisations including Innovation Warehouse, Shaping the Future of Portsmouth, the University of Portsmouth, Hampshire Chamber of Commerce and the city council will be teaming up to offer a programme of events aimed at helping start and grow businesses.

The week isbetween November 18 and 24, but the invitation is going out to firms to get involved in the events on offer that week.

They include workshops, seminars, keynote speakers at varied events around the city, the Silicon Island Business Angels Conference, the launch of the start-up weekend, and an awards ceremony for individuals and businesses which will be shaping the future of Portsmouth and inspiring others to follow in their entrepreneurial footsteps.
