AN OFFICE project has won recognition for a Portsmouth construction company.

Ace Southern, which is based at 1000 Lakeside, North Harbour, won a gold award in the Considerate Constructors Scheme for its new-build offices in Twyford.

The office project also finished top of its group and was considered for the most considerate site award.

This placed the project in the top 30 of the 9,000 entries for the scheme from across the UK.

Director Paul Heather said: ‘These awards are a fantastic acknowledgement of the hard work and achievement at Ace of our direct company team, dedicated subcontractors and suppliers.

‘This recognition, received amidst the largest building contractors in the UK is also a great stepping stone for the onward growth and progression of the business.’
