A SURVEY has revealed those who are looking towards a future in the Portsmouth construction industry are highly ambitious and keen to climb the career ladder.

The survey has been carried out by CITB-ConstructionSkills, which has been asking young people what they are looking for in a construction career.

It emerged that most wanted to go into the industry because of the opportunities it presents to be self-employed.
