VISITORS to a city centre can have their cars cleaned while they hit the shops.

A car washing service has been introduced to Cattle Market in Chichester.

Chichester District Council has appointed Park Brite who will wash and wax visitors’ cars for a fee.

‘We’re pleased that Park Brite is coming to the Cattle Market car park because it will offer an additional service to city centre visitors,’ said Cllr John Connor, who is in charge of the environment.

‘We looked at various companies to take on this new service. Park Brite has a wealth of experience and was recommended by other local authorities.

‘They use 100 per cent biodegradable products to make sure they care for the environment as well as customers’ cars.

‘And they will use significantly less water than someone washing their car at home.’
