THE first customer forum that Southern Electric has run has been hailed a success.
It took place at the firm’s regional head quarters in Penner Road, Havant.
Independently chaired by Jenny Saunders, chief executive of National Energy Action, forum members were presented with the opportunity for honest feedback and challenging discussion about issues affecting energy customers in England - with no topic off limits.
Southern Electric’s director of customer service, Tony Keeling, said: ‘Whilst we have always considered feedback from our customers as a valued source of how we are doing and where we can improve, the introduction of the customer forum allows us to receive invaluable, challenging feedback to help us improve as a company from those who matter most – our customers.
‘We are extremely grateful to the forum members for the time they have taken to be involved with this and their desire to play a part in helping shape the future of Southern Electric.’
Ms Saunders added: ‘We are all looking forward to our next session on how the cost of bills is made up and how tariffs are set.’
