DIET giant Weight Watchers is recruiting 80 meeting leaders in Portsmouth to become permanent employees.
It follows changes to the company’s operating model and is available to all 1,700 leaders nationally.
The company says the change in status for leaders, who until now contracted with Weight Watchers on a self-employed basis, is being made to capitalise on the growth potential of the company and to maximise members’ weight loss success.
Senior vice president Andrew Knight said: ‘We believe a new employment relationship with our leaders is great news for the business moving forward. It allows us to support and nurture our best assets, our leaders, by offering them better security in an employed role.’
